If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I can’t resist a good Disney snack. But when it’s delicious, creative, and Instagram-worthy? Game over—I’m sold!

Enter the I Lava You Float from Sunshine Tree Terrace, a treat that checks all the boxes and then some.

If you’re a fan of Disney’s animated short films, you’ll immediately catch the reference. For those who haven’t seen it, this snack is inspired by Lava, Pixar’s heartwarming short film where two volcanoes fall in love.

And just like in the film, we can’t help but fall head over heels for this volcano of a float!

Wow, right?! It’s stunning—and the best part? It tastes just as amazing as it looks! Here’s where you can grab one for yourself.

You can find the I Lava You Float at Sunshine Tree Terrace, located in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom, directly across from the Swiss Family Treehouse. This spot is also home to the famous Citrus Swirl, another must-try treat!

Sunshine Tree Terrace might look like a two-story building, but the action happens at the counter-service window on the ground floor. While you can order in person, I highly recommend using mobile order—especially on a hot day. That way you can skip the line and grab your treat without standing in the sun!

I Lava You Float Details

The I Lava You Float is made with Orange DOLE Whip swirled with Strawberry Fanta, drizzled with Red Passion Fruit Syrup, and topped with a sprinkle of popping candy (yep, just like the Pop Rocks we loved as kids!).

The Orange DOLE Whip is cool, refreshing, and slightly sweeter and smoother than the Citrus Orange Soft Serve used in the Citrus Swirl.

The combination of Strawberry Fanta and Passion Fruit Syrup adds the perfect touch of sweetness. The syrup is fruity and tropical.

And let’s not forget the popping candy! Paired with the soda’s carbonation, it creates a fun, fizzy sensation—just enough to give you that ‘lava’ effect.

I grabbed this on my latest trip over to Magic Kingdom, and it was exactly what I needed to cool off on a hot day. The tropical flavors were refreshing, and the ‘lava effect’ from the popping candy and soda added a fun twist. I already can’t wait to grab another.
