Review: Everglazed Donuts in Disney Springs is Finally Open!

Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew is finally open in Disney Springs! I’m obsessed with donut shop coffee. Pour it over ice, add a splash of cream, and I’ll be your best friend for life.

So obviously, I’ve been patiently awaiting Everglazed’s grand opening. Nevermind the fact that I’ve been pseudo stalking their Instagram almost daily.

And if you were also lucky enough to catch any sneak peeks of their donuts, I’m sure you have been, too!

(They were even kind enough to share out my Insta photo!)

But alas, friends…the day had finally arrived and so you’d better believe I beelined down to Disney Springs…and in a hurry!

Location

Just as a quick reference for those of you who are new to this magical donut goodness – Everglazed is located in Disney Springs.

More specifically, Everglazed is located in the West section of Disney Springs. In a normal pre COVID world, you’d be able to park in the Orange Garage and take the far west escalator down. From there you’d practically land on their doorstep.

For now, though, things are running a bit differently. This West Side exit has been blocked off.

You can still park at the Orange Garage, but you’ll need to head to the far East exit. You’ll have to go through the temperature and security checks. This will dump you out next to the Coca-Cola Store and you’ll have to walk around to Everglazed.

All that might seem self-explanatory, but since two random strangers stopped and asked me where to find Everglazed, (as I was walking out with my humungous box of donuts) I thought I’d drop that piece of 411 here.

Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew Atmosphere

As I rounded the corner and locked eyes with the place, I couldn’t help but swoon a little bit. The aesthetic is SO FUN!

For some reason, when I think ‘donut shop’ I envision lots of pink, gingham, and sprinkles.

But Everglazed is SO much cooler than that! It has a retro but modern vibe with pops of aqua and orange. It feels a little funky, but in a good way!

Get a good look at their outdoor seating area! From the string lights, faux grass lining both the ground and back wall, plus the bright orange seating areas…honestly, how could you possibly have a bad day when visiting this place?

The orange tables seat up to four, but check out the two bench-style picnic tables closest to the faux-grass wall. Those will come in handy when I’m out hanging with my homies.

As a middle-aged mom, just note that when I reference my ‘homies’, that currently just includes my eight and ten-year-old. But whatever. You get my point. 😂

How to Order

It seems kinda weird to talk to ya’ll about how to order donuts. I mean how hard could it really be?

But since everything is being handled differently with social distancing measures in place, I thought I’d give you a little heads up.

Everglazed has its menu available in a digital format. As you approach the line queue, you’ll see the QR code posted.

I snapped a screenshot of what the menu looked like when it popped up on my phone.

Can you even believe this menu?! I already knew that I was going to see mind-blowing donuts. But the fact that I could also get a chicken sandwich, spicy fries, beer, and even spiked-coffees. Oh my gosh!

Did you notice the Milky Way section? The 16-ounces of hand-crafted flavored milk actually translates to milk with bits of your favorite cereal. If you love to slurp your milk after a bowl of Fruity Pebbles, just know that all of your dreams just came true. You can now order that Fruity Pebble Milk straight up.

They even encourage you to pair it with your favorite donut and #postoninstagram. Just do it and tag me!

Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew Menu

Acquiring my goodies was shockingly easy! Since I had just recently visited the newly opened Gideon’s Bakehouse, I was expecting a super long line and a virtual queue.

Nope! At least not on the day of my visit. There were a few guests ahead of me, but I was able to get in and out in under 15 minutes.

Physically distancing is being enforced in the outdoor line area and inside of the shop. An Everglazed Cast Member was posted at the entrance. She was monitoring capacity and only allowing a few parties in at one time.

This is where you order your donuts.

Once I reached the counter, the crew was incredibly friendly and helpful. In order to give you a complete review, you know I made sure to load up on all the donuts. A baker’s dozen to be exact.

It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it. 😂

Everglazed offers two types of donuts; the Funky Bunch and New Classics.

Funky Bunch vs. New Classics

The Funky Bunch is these insane over the top ones!! We’re taking Oreo Supreme, Maple Double Bacon, and Mounds Coconut Cream just to name my top three.

The New Classics are what you’d expect at any donut shop, but with an Everglazed twist. You can’t help but notice that these are HUGE!

In addition to all the donuts, I also ordered an iced coffee. I love asking for recommendations. The Cast Member suggested the Cinnamon Bun Cold Brew. This is made with cold brew, cinnamon syrup, Cinnamon Toast Milk, and whipped cream.

This was yummy! Very sweet though and lots of cinnamon. If you like those two things then you’ll totally love this. I could taste the coffee in this, too. (Cuz when I order coffee, even if it’s fancy, I still wanna taste it!)

Here’s the Funky Donuts. I made sure to get all six! The top row from left to right is the Maple Double Bacon, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Mounds Coconut Dream.

The bottom row is Oreo Supreme, Nutella Bella, and the Peanut Butter Explosion.

Here’s the New Classics set. The top row is the Vanilla Iced + sprinkles, Classic Glazed, and Blueberry Cake.

The bottom is Fruity Pebbles, Apple Cinnamon Bear Claw, and Chocolate Iced.

The only donut I didn’t get was the Strawberry Iced + Sprinkles. I opted for the Bear Claw instead. The Cast Member told me that it’s sort of a secret menu item. It isn’t even on their menu yet.

Don’t you feel like a Disney insider now? On your visit to Everglazed, make sure to “wink, wink” and order the secret bear claw! And tell ’em I sent ya! LOL

The Vegan Donut

Review: Everglazed Donuts in Disney Springs

Oh, and the 13th donut…is this baby.

The Purple Ube.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have watched as a gave this a public taste test.

This is a 100% vegan donut. It’s the vegan version of the Classic Glazed. I was so intrigued that I had to try it out.

And man, was it tasty! If I didn’t know better, I would’ve had no idea that this was vegan. The donut itself is light and fluffy and the inside is a bright purple! It’s even topped with a yummy sweet glaze and sparkly purple sprinkles.

If you’re eating vegan, run! Don’t walk and get one of these STAT!

And hats off to Everglazed for offering a donut that includes special dietary needs. (Maybe a donut with zero carbs will be next?? A girl can dream, ya’ll!)

Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew Review

I know all the donuts pass the visual wow-factor! But let me tell you that they taste equally as great. The actual donut part of each is really yummy. They are light and fluffy and everything a donut should be.

They are super fresh, too! Actually, the large window in the front of the shop lets you get a full view of them creating the donuts before your very eyes. If you have young kids, they’d love watching this!

The icing on these is what really sets them apart. I’m a sucker for a delicious glaze, and the peeps at Everglazed are clearly masters at this. Many of the donuts include double icing. The first layer is the glaze, followed by flavored icing.

The Maple Double Bacon, which was my favorite out of them all, shows this off beautifully. You’ll see the white glaze topped off with the maple frosting. My stomach is rumbling now!

Go Get Some Funky Donuts!
