Outfit 1: Cool and Feminine Disney Tiana Outfit
This first look is laid-back while still giving princess vibes. Start with a cute graphic tee—look for one with Tiana, her crown, lily pads, or even frogs. Pair it with high-waisted denim shorts or flowy linen pants. I paired this Tiana tee with a purple floral wrap skirt. (Save your thighs! Wear my tried-and-true anti-chafing bike shorts underneath.)
For shoes, these natural espadrille sandals are a great choice. To finish it off, grab a crossbody bag with Tiana details like frogs, floral prints, or with hints of green. I love this hand crochet bag from The SAK. It coordinates with the shoes and pulls the whole look together.

Outfit 2: Princess Chic for the Parks
For a look that’s sporty and chic but still Disney-ready, this outfit will have you feeling royal! Start with a flowy green athletic dress that mimics Tiana’s iconic ballgown but keeps it practical for park hopping. Pair it with a cute belt bag and comfy sneakers.
Don’t forget the Tiana-inspired Minnie Mouse ears, which you can order on Amazon. (These are only ten bucks and don’t give me a headache!)
I think the accessories are what make this outfit. Cute gold hoop earrings, a monogram necklace, and a gold and pearl bracelet stack are simple, but make this look pulled together.
You’ll want to grab a Mickey-shaped beignet over at Port Orleans French Quarter for a photo op. Chef’s, or should I say, frog’s kiss!

For accessories, a Princess and the Frog-themed tote bag is great for holding all your essentials (and a few souvenirs). For shoes, you can’t go wrong with these black Cushionaire cork footbed sandals—they’re supportive enough for a full park day but keep your feet nice and cool.

Similar to what I mentioned above, chafing happens and it’s no fun. Whenever I wear shorts, I always use Megababe anti-chafe stick. Use it before you go and toss it in your park bag to reapply as needed.

Where to Celebrate Mardi Gras at the Disney Parks
- Walt Disney World: While Disney World doesn’t host a full Mardi Gras celebration, you can enjoy a festive nod to the season at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter. (This only happens on the exact Mardi Gras date. Mark your calendars for March 4, 2025!) Expect jazz music, colorful decorations, the golf cart parade, and, of course, Mickey-shaped beignets!
- Disneyland: Mardi Gras comes alive at New Orleans Square in Disneyland! Princess Tiana is usually out mingling with the crowd and be sure to dine at her restaurant, Tiana’s Palace. This is where you can try Tiana’s famous gumbo and jambalaya.
- If you’re visiting during Mardi Gras season (late January through early March), keep a lookout for seasonal treats that are offered throughout the parks and at Disney Springs.
